Founded by Toshikiyo Hirata, and designed by his son, Kiro, since 2002, Kapital is an Okayama, Japan based label with a deep history of working with traditional denim craftsmanship. Since then, the brand has evolved to release their own interpretations of vintage garments from all over the world.

 

This shirt is made from a patchwork of cotton and linen. It has a design that looks as if it has been repaired repeatedly, with mismatched buttons, pocket marks, stitching, etc. Each piece of patchwork fabric has a different texture.

*This product uses IDG dyes. When worn, the color may transfer to other clothing.

*This product has been treated to look second-hand. Any tears or damage caused by the treatment are part of the design and are not defects. In addition, as this product is designed to look like it has aged, some weakening may be visible in the fabric.

*Due to the nature of the design, this product has some cut edges. Frayed threads may be found in the fabric, but this is part of the design and is not a product defect.
