Founded in 2002 by father/son duo Toshikiyo and Kiro Hirata, Kapital is an Okayama, Japan based label with a deep history of working with traditional denim craftsmanship. Since then, the brand has evolved to release their own interpretations of vintage and traditional garments from all over the world.

This hat has a resized design with belts attached at the front and back transitions. A large, impactful cinch back is attached to the back. It is made of jacquard denim that expresses the beautiful blue feathers of a magpie in three dimensions. It features a gorgeous, ruffled brim with deep indigo dyed cut ends that express the light feel of feathers.

*This product has been treated to look second-hand. Any tears or damage caused by the treatment are part of the design and are not defects. As this represents the changes that occur over time, some weakening may be visible in the fabric.
