Founded in 2002 by father/son duo Toshikiyo and Kiro Hirata, Kapital is an Okayama, Japan based label with a deep history of working with traditional denim craftsmanship. Since then, the brand has evolved to release their own interpretations of vintage garments from all over the world.

 This vest is made by carefully knitting each strand of nylon padding. Its big silhouette and unique, three-dimensional, rounded shape are impressive. This is an original nylon outerwear that takes a long time to complete, as all processes from stuffing the base nylon padding with cotton to lacing it up are done by hand.
